A quieter year since it was just my sister & her family, along with my grandmother & mom. I liked that, though~all the cousins could hang out and get to know each other a little better. We celebrated my eldest daughter’s 6th birthday with some cake & spongebob hats (always important!)
Here are some snapshots of our days at the beach in May and a few sneaks for my sister for her obligatory christmas card photo shoot Yes~I have a beautiful and amazing family!

Mr. A was amazingly cute (as you can see) and since he is only a month younger than my eldest daughter, I felt a particular connection with him (and our mutual fear of bees!!! )

Just shot these this morning and already a sneak of the sneak peek! Yes~I love them all! The beautiful mama is an old dear friend of mine (since 7th grade??) and that gorgeous guy is her almost 5 year old Mr. C. (he also has the most fabulous name, ever, but it shall remain our secret!)
I have just started editing~these were some of the first I saw and I loooooved them

It is true that some people just really are magical on film (or on pixels, I guess!) This little girl and her mama are some of those people! The energy and beauty and happiness~there was no hiding them from my lens. Thank you guys for an amazing session! Your slide show will be up very soon

I got to reconnect with an old high school friend & fellow photographer and mama of two beautiful girlies today. It was so fun to shoot another photog’s family (especially this beautiful one!) & we had a blast in colorful deep ellum. Here is just a little taste of the awesomeness! More to come.
