I just got back from New Orleans, where I got to hang out with (and photograph) this amazingly happy guy & his family. These are just the tip of the photographic iceberg, so you know we had a great afternoon together! These were shot at City Park, in the Storyland area. His mama knew about this cool place, and I am so happy she chose it as one of our locations. I also shot some really cool shots of the city for the mama’s cool new venture, Drinkology, and their first product, Garden District Bloody Mary. Can’t wait to show some of those images, but I am still editing that photographic iceberg I mentioned above More to come…

A quieter year since it was just my sister & her family, along with my grandmother & mom. I liked that, though~all the cousins could hang out and get to know each other a little better. We celebrated my eldest daughter’s 6th birthday with some cake & spongebob hats (always important!)
Here are some snapshots of our days at the beach in May and a few sneaks for my sister for her obligatory christmas card photo shoot Yes~I have a beautiful and amazing family!

I went to high school with the dad, some 20+ years ago (wow, should I admit that high school was more than 20 years ago? ) He and his family were so much fun to hang out with~you can tell from just these few images how funny & loving & cool they were! (Not to mention gorgeous!)

Mr. A was amazingly cute (as you can see) and since he is only a month younger than my eldest daughter, I felt a particular connection with him (and our mutual fear of bees!!! )

Just shot these this morning and already a sneak of the sneak peek! Yes~I love them all! The beautiful mama is an old dear friend of mine (since 7th grade??) and that gorgeous guy is her almost 5 year old Mr. C. (he also has the most fabulous name, ever, but it shall remain our secret!)
I have just started editing~these were some of the first I saw and I loooooved them

Yes~I have a food (and, er, red wine!) hangover today from eating the amazing food of my bff Sara! She had her first official LBO in Texas at my house (yea!) and made some really awesome gourmet “comfort” food If you guys are interested in future gatherings, check out her site:

I am gonna try and get her to do a guest blog entry on here and talk about some of her adventures in underground dining Here are some photos~I wasn’t able to do the food justice since I was too busy eating!
